ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਇੰਨੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਛੀ ਵੀ ਹੁਣ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ
ਡਰਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਉਹ ਦੁਬਕੇ ਹਨ ਹੁਣ ਅੰਬਰ ਤੇ' ਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਹੰਝੂ ਵੀ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਪਰ ਚੋਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ
ਹਉਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਨੇ ਐਪਰ ਬੁਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਖਲੋਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਸੁਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਸੱਭ ਦੀ ਐਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ
ਕੰਧਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਖ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਵੰਡ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਸੱਭ ਨੇ ਸੱਭ ਨੂੰ ਡੱਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ
ਕੈਦ ਚੋਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਪਰ ਕੈਦ ਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਗਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਖਾਤਰ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਡਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ
ਕੌਣ ਕਹੇ ਹੁਣ ਖੋਤੇ ਵਾਂਗੂ ਆਪਾਂ ਬੋਝਾ ਢੋਂਦੇ ਨਹੀ।

ਰੋਣਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਬਹਿ ਰੋ ਲੈ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਢੇਰੀ ਤੇ
ਫੇਰ ਨਾ ਆਖੀਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਏਥੇ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਦੀਪ ਜਗਾਵਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਾਹਲਾ ਹੈ
ਰਸਤੇ ਪੂਜਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਰਸਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਗੀਤ ਬਹਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ ਸੂਲੀ ਤੇ
ਬਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੱਕਦੇ ਨੇ ਸੱਭ ਐਪਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

I started this blog with my first write up on Consumer Protection campaighn carrying "jaago Grahak jaago" title. I posted my first brush up with the whole process and failed to awake them who are in hibernation over the issues. I mailed to the concerned officials but till date no repy from it. I sent the hyperlink too but of little or no avail.

Things are blatently sold over the counters of big retail show room which lack any standardisation, certification in the absence of which they may turn out to be spurious. So Consumers, be on your own guard. The government is sleeping, please keep quiet. Dont make a noise.

Of Money in Swiss Banks

Insecurity is an animal instinct. One can observe squirrels and other animals, even the little insets, piling up food for dry winters. Money is acquired not only for meeting the present necessities but also for the future needs. So it is safely kept aside, may be in banks or in lockers to prevent any untoward incident. Those who are not satisfied they choose banks on the foreign land for keeping their money safely away. It has been happening ever since. Indian rich have trusted Swiss banks more than Indian banks and they have put their money in the safe custody of UBS of Switzerland.

How this money is siphoned off from India, through what channel and how it has got converted into Swiss currency or US currency, is matter of deep analysis and introspection. I do not know since I am not used to it. Those who know are already in power and they have been, for a few decades have been raising hue and cry about this money insisting its disclosure first then its deportment. They know very well and since the issue is public sensitive, so they are building support around it. It has started pouring in from several quarters. Now it is publicly demanded to extradite the money and put it back where it belonged to, i.e. India.

A few questions have crossed my mind while reflecting upon the issue and I would like to share with my readers. Firstly, whose money the UBS has been holding, mine, yours, or the affluent people? Who is affluent today, the one who is wielding power and position. And this is none other than the political leaders in the past, whose sons and daughters have ascended the throne or political power. So naturally it will be in their best interest to get into any fresh controversy. The country has seen enough of its scams and scandals. Nowadays, no more eyebrows are raised on the issue and the issue of corruption has been given a kind of immunity.

Secondly, this money, if brought back, in whose custody it will remain? yours, mine, or the political leaders? You and I will have no control over it. This will finally go to the finance minister who will decide with the help of his colleagues and spend it by either giving soft loans to the rich and affluent or in some infra-structure, from where it will again fall into the hands of modern ruling members. It will never go to the Public. We will have no control over it. And, so far as the government is concerned, it has lost all the credibility it enjoyed. Therefore, the very first thing we should come face to face to resolve the issue which is at the sore point is how to handle expeditiously the present scams; how to bring the culprit to books and how to initiate some punitive measures to ensure a neat and clean governance of Public funds in future. Needless to say, the government agencies and those in control are trying to raise issues to distract the public attention. First it was common wealth, then Delhi building bungling, 2G Raja Scams, Adarsh Housing Society Scam, LIC Housing Insurance and housing loan scam and now Nira Radia Tape scandals, the list is getting longer. At the helm is involved mismanagement of Public funds and siphoning off money to the tune of lakhs of crores of rupees. A common man cannot spell the money in digits.

Last but not the least is the question, how to ensure such a bungling in Public accounts. The common man is not just a watch dog but the dog who watches and the thieves steal the show. They carry both cheese and honey. Ordering an investigation after the lid is blown over itself is a big scam. Those who are entrusted to rule, if they turn blind eye and fail to ensure good governance, is itself a serious issue. So at the stake is the credibility of the house of the largest democracy of the world. A bad headmaster gives aches to all, school, students and parents alike.

Who spills whose beans?

US is afraid of Julian Assenge. Why? Because, they allege that twice he successfully entered during copulation once without condom and second time, the condom was not good enough as it ruptured inside letting his sperms all over the US system. His sperms are strong and US is afraid, it will not be able to hold itself back in shape which it enjoyed a few months before.
Unsafe sex is always bad, whether you do in the bed without your partner or with the system. US seems to be allergic to unsafe sex, a crime which Julian Assange is guilty of.

He has his own argument. He says, he has procured the condoms from US health service and every condom bore ‘Made in USA’ stamp. Now the thing is he is blaming US government for shipping out condoms which are not fit to use or which are not safe during sex. The argument is strong enough. US should have been aware that people all over the world should be supplied proper preventive devices such gas masks, filters, anti –virus, vaccines and of course condoms. So, if they are used in that case by accident, they ensure safety to both the partners.
Safety saves. US is shifting blame game and putting the court of Chinese exporters. They say, US does not manufacture any thing except software, for which Bill Gates hold the keys, the windows keys, passwords etc., keynotes, key addresses and even the IP addresses, a large volume of goods comes from China. China is the master of low cost goods. It has provided cheap powers by refusing to use US system of technology which insists on buying fuel and technology from US on per month payment basis, well organised labour and other tax structures, at the same time, to match the quality, sometimes, the spurious goods change hands. So US is not sure of quality of its condoms which Assaange says, he has procured.
So Wikileaks give US much the trouble and it is bent upon thrusting a case of unsafe sex and condom rupture against Jullian Assanges. Let us see, what happens.

Wikileaks and after

Apropos, the recent and latest dispatches of Wikileaks, wherein the hypocrisy of US's official diplomacy stands exposed and earning more scorn and spite worldwide, the basic concern is not the policies s of America but the way they are executed, the way their diplomats so officials as they have been assigned an unclaimed status of VVIP, think of the world, the other persons. It is despicable, demoniac, loathsome, hateful, detestable, reprehensible, abhorrent, abominable, awful, heinous; odious, vile, low, mean, abject, shameful, ignominious, shabby, ignoble, disreputable, discreditable, unworthy; informal dirty and rotten.

It requires civility and decency of certain degree with demureness, diffidence to assumed the status of presumptive supremacy in the world. One should be discreet, humble, meek and reticent. But US has given a great shock to the whole world. There is not for any civility, liberty, fraternity and least to say equality. They seem to have been treating the whole world as their puppet of clay dolls. Unfortunately there is no face saving for them.

With neck deep in the post recession economic failures, when they have been expecting the rest of the world to help them out to refuel their economy, the Wikileaks has brought them to reality by given them a jolt. US should unconditionally tender an apology. The diplomats should be withdrawn and be replaced with new ones empowered with a fresh vision. Back at home, they should straighten the facts and figures and stop becoming a nuisance in the world. They, themselves should be amicable and affable before expecting the whole world turn to be soft on them.

If US is to be tried for all the indecency and hatred it has spread in the world through its willy-nilly policies and character, what is their stand? The world needs to understand that all that glitters is not gold.
